2. Data we process

We process names, email, login and account details, language, birth year or date of birth, sex and country. Depending on completed fields, we also process address, telephone, club, organization and license number.

For competitions, we process registration, participation and sporting results data. We process email and message content for communication, and login and technical data for platform security.

We obtain data from you or your club or competition organizer, including sporting results.

Required fields are marked in the registration form and are needed to create an account. Registration cannot be completed without them. Birth year, sex and country are used only for competition categories and results.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data necessary to manage accounts and provide the requested service for performance of a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Sporting data is used for registration, categories and competition results. The organizer determines its legal basis and retention period.

We process technical data, including through Google reCAPTCHA, based on our legitimate interest in secure operation and protection against abuse under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We handle support and pre-contractual enquiries under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other communication is based on our legitimate interest in responding under point (f). Legal obligations, including handling GDPR requests, are fulfilled under point (c).

4. Access and public results

Authorized platform personnel, organization administrators, organizers, judges and coaches have access according to their permissions. We also provide data to authorities where required by law.

We use cloud hosting and email service providers, with data for these services stored in the European Union.

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect registration. It processes visitor technical data, such as IP addresses and cookie identifiers. Public lists and results are accessible without login and contain names, birth year, country, competitor number and, where applicable, category, club, performance and rank.

5. Retention and erasure

We retain account data while the service is used, until an erasure request is fulfilled. Inactivity or deactivation does not trigger automatic erasure.

Erasure removes personal and login data from the account. An inactive record remains to preserve links to sporting results. The account cannot be restored.

Account erasure does not remove historical competitor personal data or cup results. We assess their retention and any erasure separately with the organizer under the GDPR.

Messages are deleted once the communication has been handled.

6. Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies for login and browser storage to remember display settings. Google reCAPTCHA may use its own cookies for protection against abuse. We use no analytics or marketing tools or cookies.

7. Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Send requests to info@verti.top. A legal representative may exercise rights relating to a minor. We may verify your identity. We handle requests without undue delay, generally within one month. We will explain any extension or refusal and your options for protecting your rights.
